Privacy Policy
Last updated:
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how the Shipwright website (the “Site”) handles information. The Site is primarily an informational, static website describing an open-source project.
2. Information we do not collect
The Site, as published, does not require an account, does not include forms that collect personal data, and does not sell personal information. It does not set advertising or tracking cookies of its own.
3. Information collected automatically
If the Site is hosted by a third-party provider (for example, a static-hosting service), that provider may automatically log standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security and operational purposes. That processing is governed by the host’s own privacy policy.
4. Third-party resources
The Site loads a web font from Google Fonts and a JavaScript library from a public CDN to render its design and interactive demo. When your browser requests these resources, the respective providers may receive your IP address and request metadata under their own privacy policies. The Site also links out to GitHub; visiting those links is subject to GitHub’s privacy policy.
5. Local storage
The Site may use your browser’s local storage only for lightweight, per-device conveniences (such as remembering a display preference). This data stays in your browser and is not transmitted to us.
6. Children’s privacy
The Site is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from them.
7. Your choices
You can block cookies and local storage, or disable JavaScript, in your browser settings. The Site’s core content remains readable without JavaScript; only the animated demo requires it.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes take effect when posted here, and the “Last updated” date will reflect the revision.
9. Contact
Questions about this policy can be raised via the project’s GitHub repository.
